The Story:
Adèle Makéda couldn’t think in the office, so she headed across the street from the W Cosmetics headquarters to her favorite café, Les Deux Fleurs, to review her texts and emails. It was a big mistake, because every time she tried to review something confidential, one of the paparazzi would come by and snap a photo, commenting on her chic dress.
She threw her leopard overcoat on and put on her sunglasses, flagging down the server to move her from a table outside to a more private booth in the back of the café.
Adèle and Eugenia had been doing more strategy with Véronique at W, alongside their modeling duties. After Agnes’s stunt at the 20th Anniversary Gala, showing up with Lilith and causing a scene, they were very concerned about the launch of Agnes’s new all-encompassing lifestyle brand, AvW and who she might be trying to poach.
Further, they need to create more buzz for W Cosmetics. Véronique and Vanessa did a great job with their recent collab in Mexico, and it was time to bring out some big guns.
Adèle looked down at a text from Eugenia. Adèle had suggested that they try to get Elyse Jolie involved in their next campagin.
Eugenia texted back: Are you sure you can trust Elyse? I think I can get Isha out of retirement for something?
Adèle responded: Elyse has always been a great ally. Have you heard something? I can’t imagine her wanting to work with AvW…
Eugenia sent back: She’s been MIA and acting weird. And Eden had said something that she overheard her sister talking through some names. Maybe it’s nothing?
